Mobile Bodywork

A modality of bodywork that incorporates long, fluid strokes to promote relaxation as well as improve circulation. It is a superficial massage that uses techniques such as effleurage (long, superficial strokes) and petrissage (kneading, squeezing strokes) and is beneficial for those who are looking to relax or reinvigorate their body’s systems.

A modality of bodywork that targets specific tissues in order to relieve pain and tension as well as reeducate the fibers of specific muscle tendon units. It is targeted work that does NOT require intense pressure to be beneficial.  

A modality of bodywork that incorporates slow and gentle techniques to stretch the fascia of the body. Fascia is stringy, web-like connective tissue interwoven throughout your body’s muscles, bones, circulatory vessels, and organs. It can become tightened and more rigid from trauma, which can in turn lead to pain and loss of mobility, as well as constrict your muscles.

Trager looks to re-educate the body as well as the mind through neuroplasticity by sending new information in the form of positive neurological changes to improve movement patterns. This modality is extremely efficient in creating a feeling of lightness, re-invigorated mobility, and relaxation, and it’s typically a clothed session.
